Experience in obtaining eligibility for healthcare clients in a healthcare, hospital, or government setting
Motivated individual who desires to make a difference in others' lives by working directly with clients and multiple government agencies
Experience with the disability claims process as a Social Security claims rep or DHS eligibility worker desired
College degree preferred
Strong communication skills required, both oral and written
Dedicated to working with clients of various educational and socioeconomic backgrounds
Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities
Demonstrated experience in case management to include some medical knowledge
Must be able to interpret and define an extensive variety of problems, collect data, document the facts, and draw valid conclusions
Must be computer-literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and skills in other languages are also a plus
