    General applicant requirements for the winning team at MASH include:
  • Experience in obtaining eligibility for healthcare clients in a healthcare, hospital, or government setting
  • Motivated individual who desires to make a difference in others' lives by working directly with clients and multiple government agencies
  • Experience with the disability claims process as a Social Security claims rep or DHS eligibility worker desired
  • College degree preferred
  • Strong communication skills required, both oral and written
  • Dedicated to working with clients of various educational and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience in case management to include some medical knowledge
  • Must be able to interpret and define an extensive variety of problems, collect data, document the facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Must be computer-literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and skills in other languages are also a plus
